Welcome to Miss Cohen's Dance Education Cirriculum Toolkit!

On this site you will be able to find an array of resources to run a safe and inclusive dance classroom in a K-12 school system. As a dance educator, I want students to find their best selves. In order for them to do this they need to first know who they are and what they stand for. I hope that these resources can be used to help students find some answers to their own questions about who they are and also learn about other people. I hope to build a strong community in my classroom that can help prepare students for the real world with support and self-expression. Dance serves as a way to bring people together, and I hope to do that with my students.

“Human resources are like natural resources; they're often buried deep. You have to go looking for them, they're not just lying around on the surface. You have to create the circumstances where they show themselves.”
